Cement mixer drum
A 4m³ cement mixer drum being fabricated by Nirosta (Pty) Ltd
The new drum is a smaller 4m³ mixing drum and is fabricated from hardwearing plate. It consists out of 4 concentric reducers (all in 3 or 4 segments) and a middle cylinder. All components are rolled from plate and then fitted and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welded. The complete mixer drum with the internal spirals will weigh around 1800 kg, when completed.
